A very nice sunny day. It was in the 30°. I did a wash. Betty came up, we wrapped up the things we got. I cooked a roast beef dinner, it was very good. Bill is doing well, no bleeding. Billie put up the outside lights. There are very bad floods in Arkansas and Missouri. They have had bad snow storms and winds in California and other Western states. Also in Hawaii they had a bad hurricane last week or so. Marty Robbins, country and western singer, died.

A very nice day. I done regular work, cooked an apple pie, brownies, watched TV soaps and other odd jobs. Bill just the same, nothing to do. I guess he went down town to get some cigarettes. Billie and Heidi took their walk. I cleaned up the stove. Carmen called today, they are having a Christmas party up there tonight. It was so good to hear her voice. Kim worked.
