A quite nice day, kind of cool, windy, not too cool though. Betty to meet someone to see about renting the Twin Rock camp. I done regular work, made rolls and washed floors. Not much going on this day.

It dawned cloudy and on the cool side. Carmen called today, she is still working and striving to pay her bills. She has an extra job to begin on tonight at 4 PM waitressing at Sportsman’s Grill. She made about $40 on her first night.

A rainy miserable day. I did the washing, ironing and put a rinse on my hair. Made a blueberry pie also cooked a soup for supper. Real good. After supper we got ready, Betty, Dorothea, Iva and I all got ready and went down to call at Dorothea’s (I think she met Carmen’s). She has a nice little one person apartment. It looks very neat and clean. It is all hardwood floors. She was glad we came down. She gets lonesome all alone.

It was cloudy and rainy all a.m. I made a pudding, defrosted the refrigerator. Watched the TV programs.
