Friday, May 11, 1984 Bill home, Bill to hospital
A quite nice day. I did the washing. Washed windows, swept and dusted. We got a call about 12:30, Bill could come home. Betty went and got him. He was very weak and pale. He didn’t do much, was pleased to get home. Gone six days. He seemed quite good, he was lying down most of PM. We had supper about 5:30. He didn’t quite finish. He came in, watched the news. After a while he went out to the kitchen to smoke, went to bathroom, got kind of sick to his stomach. He went to bed and there got very sick and vomited up pure blood hemorrhaged. It was awful. He was very weak. Dorothea happened to call and she got the emergency at hospital. They said to bring him right in. She, Betty and I took him. Billie up to stay with Fern. He was very sick, he was put into INTENSIVE CARE.
