Wednesday, March 2, 1966 CHECK
A nice March day, mild and windy. I done up my work, got a
nice chicken supper. Down to Betty’s with Fern and Lloyd. Fern and Lloyd called
to see Betty’s package she got from Esther. I stayed. We got things moved
around for the baby to come home. Got her bathinette set up with clothes on it.
Betty got their income check refund $165.77. Mike over tonight, he paid her.
Mike is mixed up. Glad to see Betty and Carmen.
Thursday, March 3, 1966
A beautiful day. Betty and Carmen up. We went down town.
Betty paid all her bills. We called at Lil’s. Came back up here, had supper.
Bill and I took her home. Billie bought a new kitchen clock. Holly and kids
came up to her mother’s. A very nice day. Snow melted and settled.

Friday, March 4, 1966
A nice sunny forenoon. I done up my work. Mrs. George
Bingham called selling Rawleigh products. Betty came, we went to town and I did
my shopping. Betty and Carmen stayed up here a while. Carmen slept. Betty not
too good, getting heavy and (?). Bill saw Forrest Prescott today. Rain began
tonight. Delores went away over to her sister Gladys’s.
Saturday, March 5, 1966
Rain. Mild temperature but heavy rain. Snow settled a lot.
Betty and Carmen came up. Carmen has a cold. Betty to the doctors. He said she
could have the baby any time within two weeks. Fern up for supper. Billie up to
Chet’s then went up through Stoneham looking for beef cattle. He worked at Raymond
in a.m. Bill fixed toaster, Betty shelf etc.
