Tuesday, October 17, 1967 Dorothea Dave Betty Walt having
papers made out for their homes today
Very mild all day. I washed. Mrs. Stanford called and asked
me to go to Norway. I had to go to the bank for Betty. Betty Walt having their
papers made out today. Also Dorothea and Dave are having their papers made out
for their new home. Betty and girls called here for supper.

Cloudy all day. Gordon didn’t come until late. He wired for
deep-freeze down cellar and for washer. He laid some of the last layer of
kitchen floor.
Thursday, October 19, 1967 Began on kitchen cupboards
Partly cloudy, some sunshine. A pretty day, patches of clear
blue sky. Gordon began on the kitchen cupboards. Fern, Lloyd and Sally called.
Cold and windy all day and is tonight.

A very nice day. On the windy side. Gordon didn’t come until
p.m. Then he and I went down to LC Andrews and Plywood Barn and Lakeside Plumbing.
Got the sink, range hood and Mica top for shelves. Bill and I to town in
evening.
