Kind of cloudy. I churned, got the clothes in and ironed.
Worked upstairs. Got rest of the bureau draws done.
Wednesday, March 28, 1962
Fair, some clouds. Quite warm, snow settled a lot. I got up
and got ready. Blanche and I left for Portland early. Left the car at the seat
and upholsterer. Take a bus into Portland, done a little shopping. Back to Woodford’s,
got the car, back in and got Blanche’s machine back out to Zayres. Got home
about four. Aunt Ava, Uncle Lewis and Kennard here. Bobby called.
Thursday, March 29, 1962
A very nice day. I done the shed chambers and dark bedroom today. Bobby called.
Fern and Lloyd called in a.m. Snow has settled a lot today.
Friday, March 30, 1962
50 above. A very nice and warm day. I worked up in Betty’s
room. I churned. Dolores and Bobby called. Billie home today sick. We got
Easter cards from Adair’s today. Snow went a lot today.
