Cold cold. Dolores called in a.m. I finished up the cleaning
upstairs. It looks very nice. I began working upstairs March 21. In PM I roasted
pork, made a blueberry pie. After supper Billie and I went down to see Horace
Flint at the funeral parlor. Aunt Ava called in PM. In evening Fern came up,
stayed til Lloyd called for her at midnight.

No letter from Bet and Mike. I don’t see what the trouble
can be. I didn’t do much today. I churned, done up the regular work. Mama stayed
in bed today. Tonight Bill and Billie raked rest of front lawn. Began on it
before the storm last weekend. Bill sowed down the pasture tonight. Sowed grass
seed.
