Sunday, June 22, 1980 Cow and Calf
A quite nice day, sunny, some haze, much warmer. I got up late, about 7:30. Got the breakfast, done up the work. Then I read some papers and some magazines. Billie and I called at Fern’s, also Dorothea and David’s. Bill and Billie didn’t do anything. Today Billie traded his spackled nice steer for a Rhône cow and calf. Cow is very poor. They went down to see Walt Jr. He is about the same. He is in constant pain. Tonight Walt took Carmen and Maureen to the concert in Portland. Betty, Joy, Dorothea, Zak and Cindy to the movies. Kim called after supper.
