Thursday, December 21, 1978 MABEL NEVERS DIED, LAWRENCE’S FUNERAL
Well the weather was everything today. I didn’t go to town. There wasn’t any school. I went down to Betty’s, we made cornballs. About 3 PM Dawn called Betty that her mother had died. Today Billie didn’t work. He got ready and he and Keith went to Lawrence’s funeral. A very big funeral.
