Nice mild and sunny. I done up my regular work. Kimmy up here all last night. She is cooking. Betty and I took a ride to Westbrook to get rolls and a cake (birthday). We called at Dorothea’s. She is in a serious condition. She and David are going to divorce. I am very sorry but I will be glad when she gets it. She will relax and be better she says.

Cloudy and it snowed today and tonight it warmed up and then rain. I done up my work, got ready and went down to Betty’s for Carmen’s birthday. She got a lot of nice clothes and a set of saddle bags and other useful gifts. Also a good sum of money. Fern, Lloyd, Billie and Susan, and Bill, Billie and I were there. Had a nice lunch, ice cream and cake. Carmen had her close girlfriend there, Kathy Flaherty.
