Friday, March 20, 1959
This is been the nicest day we have had since last fall in
the 50°. Snow settled a lot. Bill and Billie down to Raymond. Billie and I
downtown. I cooked and churned. Dawn and her mother called, also Esther Allen
and Bobby at night. Betty to movies in evening. Bill over to Blanche and got
his haircut.

Cooked, churned. Betty and Billie to town. Bill worked over
to Jim’s all day. Cloudy tonight. Walt Keen died tonight.
Sunday, March 22, 1959 Birthday of William M Crook Jr.
Cold and windy. Had turkey dinner. Dawn Parks here. In p.m. Aunt
Ava called, Fern, Lloyd and Uncle Os had ice cream cake. In a.m. Verna, Brud
and Jeffrey called. Also Hayd and Stan W. came, got his cow.
Monday, March 23, 1959
Real cold this morning but warmed up in middle of forenoon.
I washed. Bill and Billie over to Fryeburg and got spring for Billie’s car. I
got the clothes in after supper. I churned.
Tuesday, March 24, 1959
Warmer. I cleaned up the house, cooked, churned and ironed.
Billie got his car back. Kennard called today. A beautiful day.
Wednesday, March 25, 1959
Cloudy. I began cleaning over to Aunt Ava’s. Cleaned the
bedroom, living room and bathroom. Billie worked up to Chet’s. Mike up tonight
with Betty.
