Thursday, March 26, 1959
A very nice day. We finished cleaning Aunt Ava’s house
today. Blanche Sawyers Davenport called that Aunt Joe died last night. Billie
worked up to Chet’s today.
Friday, March 27, 1959
Bill and I to town. I got some groceries. Cloudy today.
Betty to the movies tonight. Bill and I called at Dawn’s and Delores’s. I
churned.
Saturday, March 28, 1959
A nice day, on the very cold and windy side. Sunny. We went
to Aunt Joe’s funeral today. Bill, Kennard, Kennie, Robert, Raymond Harmon, (?)
Leeman Trumbull were bearers. Blanche and her family called after the funeral.
Bob and Blanche here for supper. I cooked.
Sunday, March 29, 1959
A beautiful day for Easter. Sunny and warm. We had a good
Easter ham dinner. Billie got a nice durham calf for Lawrence Boynton.
