Friday, July 17, 1959
Another nice hot day. I cooked, done up the work. Paul came
and raked the hay. Bill and I to town, paid bills and got groceries. In evening
Gordon Sanborn baled the hay and they got it all in. FINISHED HAYING
Saturday, July 18, 1959
Another hot sunny day. Milan and Norma came early this
morning. Worked all day. Betty, Pat and Norma and Jeannie went swimming in p.m.
Milan and Norma got run into by a deer on the way up here last night. Billie
helping Raymond hay tonight. MIKE left today for Auburn. He will stay over
there to Auburn with his father and going to Edward Little High.

Sunday, July 19, 1959
Hot. Milan up early this morning and left for home. Rest of
us didn’t get up very early. Billie and Betty mowed lawns. Kids swimming this
p.m. Showers in p.m. Raymond called.
Monday, July 20, 1959
Good in the first part of day. In late p.m. it clouded up
and rained. I washed, got the clothes dried. Kids all went swimming. In evening
I done up the ironing. Betty and Pat out babysitting. Billie sold his calf
tonight to Davis Kimball.
