1974 HOT HOT
Today I got my
work done up, did a dite of washing. Billie went up to Chet’s and mowed. In
p.m. he got his hay all in. Walt and his truck. Bill also, and George Drisko
helped too. He got about 325 bales of good hay in the new barn. In p.m. we went
over to Weldon and Lida’s new place, formerly Aunt Ava and Uncle Lewis’ home.
They had opened house. It is a beautiful home, everyone liked it very much.
They had a lot of relatives and neighbors in to see it.

Kind of a partly
cloudy day but not too hot. Today I went to Denmark, Naples with Betty in a.m.
In p.m. went to town and South Harrison. For work here, I washed, gave the
bathroom a cleaning, picked peas and ironed. Betty here, also the kids.
Kimberly had a little girl playing with her today, Tricia Barton. She had a
good time. Carmen and Zenya went swimming. Tonight Esther and Cliff arrived
home from Ohio. They had a wonderful time, a nice trip.
