A
beautiful day, very hot. I put screens on, washed windows on the outside.
Washed all the curtains. Put tomato plants in the ground. Gordon up, they
worked on the plumbing. Bill (?)
Thursday,
June 8, 1967
It was
cloudy and rainy today. I washed a big wash of everything. Cleaned pots and
pans, did some packing. Up to the house in evening. Dorothea, David and
children called. Bill and Gordon worked on the bathrooms.
Friday,
June 9, 1967
Cleared
off, very nice. It got hot. Dorothea, Betty and I moved in p.m. Billie took me to town. He
bought a bedroom set of Thurlow. Bill bought a pump today. Mrs. Carter called
on phone.
Saturday,
June 10, 1967 MOVED
A very
nice hot day. Betty and Billie moved a lot more things today. Bill worked
putting wallboard on up to the new house. Stanford and two boys came with a
load of furniture etc.
