Monday, March 25, 1963
Mild, but cloudy all day. Rain tonight. Betty, Carmen went
over to Auburn today and visited with Bennie on his 40th birthday. Thelma
went with her. I washed, churned, done up the housework. Fern and Lloyd called.
Blanche and girls also Kennard. The enlarged picture of Carmen came today. Mike
should have got his pictures of his daughter today.
Tuesday, March 26, 1963
A very nice, fair, warm day. We got the clothes in, ironed.
Betty outside doing odds and end jobs. We cleaned the chickens. Fay and Amy
down after supper. Betty and I to town after supper.
Wednesday, March 27, 1963
A nice day, showery. I wrote to Dorothea. I cleaned up the
house. Betty got a cold. Carmen quite good all day, didn’t sleep much.

Thursday, March 28, 1963
Spring day, on the cool side. I wrote another letter to
Dorothea. Didn’t get my work done til late p.m. Betty helped, she also made a
cake. Fern and Lloyd called.
