A NICE DAY. BETTY LOUISE BOUTILIER and her daughter CARMEN
CHRISTIE came home today. We have finally got the baby. Betty is very sore on
her behind from the stitches. Joy, Blanche, Debbie and Lorrie was here, also
Fern and Lloyd. Carmen is a sweet baby. We all love her. Jeff thinks she is
very nice.

Sunday, February 10, 1963
A nice warm day. Dorothea and Jeff outside. In p.m. Aunt
Ava, Kenny and Dot called. First weekend Bill hasn’t had to work. Carmen
Christie real dolly looking, sweet as honey. Betty not too good. I done the
rest of the fumigating and washed all the floors. Steer went today.

Monday, February 11, 1963
We washed. Dorothea and I to town at noon. In p.m. Betty to
town to get her affidavit signed. Dolores, Kennard, Holly and Stevie called,
also Rosalie and Debora. LETTER FROM MIKE. Betty got a nice letter from Mike
today. Dorothea packing.
