Wednesday, December 5, 1962
Partly cloudy. Well, I done my ironing. I went to town for
Mama. I baked a fowl for supper. In PM I backed Christmas cards for Mama. In
evening Bill got his haircut. Betty rested today.
Thursday, December 6, 1962
A nice day. I cleaned up the house. A letter from Esther.
Dorothea and Jeff there visiting. I’m so glad for them all. Esther said she is
feeling better. No letter from that Mike. He don’t get a chance to write
sometimes.
Friday, December 7, 1962
A nice day, cooler. We had the furnace cleaned out. Cecil
Hogan, Mama over to Aunt Ava’s. Betty, Blanche and I drove over to Lewiston.
Betty did her shopping for Christmas. Betty drove all the way over and back.
Saturday, December 8, 1962
Partly cloudy. A few snow flurries. I cooked, done regular
work. Oh yes, churned. Betty got her letters from the writing school. No letter
from MIKE. NO LETTER. Fern up here tonight. Bill and Betty drove down town with
Bill.
