Day
It was a beautiful day, sunny and
clear all day. Dorothea and David called and was here a long time. We was very
glad to see them. They are talking about a farm to buy. In late p.m. the Horton’s
invited Bill and I for a ride and had lunch at Goodwin’s. A very good meal.
Anniversary present. Billie gone upstate with Lawrence, up to Washington and
Union Maine. I washed and cleaned up the house. Mr. Saltman called and paid Bill.

did her washing. She took her hams and bacon away to have smoked. We fixed her
salt pork. Walt worked a little while
today. No school. Kim up here today. Bill here all day. They worked at Ilan’s today.
