Windy, cold. I went down to Betty’s for a little while. In
p.m. we went to North Windham, she got the car washed. Came back to Raymond and
stopped at the Columbia Market, bought groceries. We found many articles four
to eight cents cheaper there where I usually shop.

A nice sunny day. I did regular work and washed windows and
dusted. I went down to Betty’s. Dorothea came up, we looked over scraps, cards
etc. from Uncle Lewis. It was fun. Dorothea called here also Susan and children.
Zak up for a little visit. Esther here for supper. Cliff and Bill to a Boy
Scout banquet.
Saturday, March 11, 1972 finished SCRAPS
Sunny and a dite mild in a.m. and most of the day. Lloyd and
Cliff came and got the rubbish. Billie gone down country with Lawrence. I made
a chocolate layer cake and custard. Made rolls and baked beans. Betty called
for the rolls. Bill and I took a nice long ride down to North Bridgton,
Harrison, Scribner Mills, Bolsters Mills, Otisfield, Casco, Naples and home. I
finished working on my scraps this evening. I’ve been a couple years of doing
them. Now I got a couple other projects to work on.

Another cloudy day. Took my bath, done up the work. Kind of
late getting around. Fern and Lloyd called today. Made a nice visit. Didn’t do
too much today. Snowed a little tonight in evening. Watch some TV. Betty and
Walt called, they got the paper.
