A nice day on the cold side. I done up my work. Made a pie
and cake. In early p.m. Carmen and Kim came up to stay while Betty and Walt
gone to Portland for dinner and movie. Dorothea and Dave went with them. They
had a very good time, nice dinner. They saw Zak in PM. He was so pleased to see
them. I went down to the house or Betty’s with the kids after supper and got Pa’s
supper. Stayed till Betty and Walt came home. Mike called and talked with me
about his girls. I was so pleased to talk with him. He still loves his first
family. Betty too. Carmen and Kim talked with him. He called to see how Kim
was.

A nice day, but on the cool side. I got up early, got my
work done. Went to town in a.m. with Betty. The Thomases came about one, we had
a roast pork dinner. Done up dishes etc. Down to Betty and Walt’s for Kimmy’s
birthday on Wednesday the 12th, she will be six years old. Fern,
Lloyd, Cliff, Esther, Billie, Dorothea, Dave, Jeff, Bill, Billie and me. We
sure missed Zak. Kimmy had a good time, got a lot of nice gifts. Carmen had a
touch of bronchial asthma. We did the hoola hoop.
