A very nice sunny day. Bill stayed home today. We went to
Portland to the Social Security Board. We had Betty go, Kim and Zak. We stopped
at Dorothea’s. She joined us. We went to the SS then ate lunch, called on Walt,
to FO Bailey coin collectors and gun collectors etc. We sold the coins for $92.
No sale on gun or the book. Had a very good time, both kids were so good, very
tired. I got a Kentucky Fried Chicken dinner for supper. Fern came up. Betty
called. Also Vince got awfully sick today because of eating pills he got into.

A cloudy dreary day. I done regular work. Washed, ironed and
clean the cupboard. Betty cleaned some of her shed chamber. Walt home at noon
to study. Carmen had company for supper and early evening. The little Dunn girl
from South Bridgton. It is snowing hard here tonight. Lloyd cashed the check
today for the guns.

A bad storm today, snow most of the time. Some sleep. The
wind blowed. A bad day, not any traffic hardly. No school over this part of the
state. I stayed home all day. I worked in the cupboard by the kitchen. Billie
Deming came over, he was here for supper. Bill back to work after supper. Es
and Cliff over after supper to get Billie.
