lady came to see about stereo and TV.
Tuesday, July 5, 1966 Letters from Betty and Esther
Cool in early a.m. and got hot. We done the work up.
Dorothea got her hair cut. We went over to Alice’s to call about shipping etc.
Came home, letter from Betty and Esther. In p.m. we went and done our shopping.
Came home, Bob and Carol called. They have bought this house.
A nice cool day, a very good breeze. Dorothea over to Edna’s
and after Jeff’s cake and over to Alice’s this a.m. I did up the work and
ironed. Carol’s mother called about the bathroom enclosure. Had Jeff’s birthday
party. He had Betty, Jimmy, his friends, Grandma Adair, Uncle Freddie, Margaret
and Bob. He got $12 in money, a sweatshirt, rocket and a swimming pad. Cake and
ice cream. A very nice day, sunny but a good breeze.
Thursday, July 7, 1966
A cloudy morning but on the humid side when that sun gets
out,hot again. Today is Thursday and not one might of packing done. We got to
rush now. I’ll be so glad if ever we are packed and out of here. So much to do.
Dorothea had callers in evening. Mrs. Adair bought Dorothea’s kitchen set.
