Sunday, August 27, 1989 DELORES DIED This PM
A most beautiful day, clear and sunny. Warmer than the past few days, no wind. Walt up for coffee. We got the work done up. After lunch Billie asked us to go for a ride. We went up as far as Stow ME and Chatham New Hampshire. It was a very pretty ride, saw a lot of places we haven’t seen for a long time. Came home, got supper. Susan called. She told us Delores wasn’t very well. Had refused food and drinking. We decided to see her tomorrow. Later in early evening Bud called us to tell us Delores had died. We was shocked as we hadn’t expected.
