Thursday, September 15, 1960 Fire in new stove
Been quite a nice day. I’ve been busy. Well, I had a fire in
this little stove. It has been so nice and warm. I picked a lot of shell beans,
also corn. We shelled the beans and I finished getting them into the freezer
after supper. Rowena here all night. Raymond here for supper. Kennie and Dot
called. I mailed a wedding anniversary card to Dorothea and Denny.

A very nice day. Cooked, churned, cleaned up downstairs.

Bill and Billie pulled the onions. I used the new stove for cooking. Beans were
very good tonight. A letter from Dorothea, was so glad to hear from her.
