Clear but an awful cold,
some clouds. Bill hunted all day. I churned, went to town, got Richard Hudnut
wave and Blanche gave Betty a hair permanent. Very good. Betty looks like a new
person. I put the house into shape again. Kay up here tonight. Betty down to
Kay’s tonight. Billie over to get a haircut.
Saturday, November 24, 1956
A nice day, but awful cold.
I did some cooking. Cleaned up the house, to town before supper. Bill hunted
all day. Betty gone all day came home in eve with Bill.
Sunday, November 25, 1956
Fair in a.m. Betty to church.
Kay here in p.m. Bill and Lloyd finished up at camp. I wrote to Dorothea and
Esther. In late p.m. Aunt Ava and Uncle Lewis called. Billie traded a heifer
with Elmer Fogg today for a Durham beef heifer. Phone red. (?)
Monday, November 26, 1956
Snow today about 5 to 7
inches. I washed. Bill over to Norway. In PM he and I to town. We bought the
Atlantic end heater at Lowell $65 bot an electric Kelvinator range of Potter
and Thurlow. I cooked. Bill got paid $6.00 from camp work.
