Sunday, December 2, 1956
A nice day seasonable
temperature, very cold tonight. Did up the work, had broiled steak for dinner,
first time in new stove. Aunt Ava, Uncle Lewis, Dennis Chadbourne, Charlie and
Jean, Gordon, Sally and children, Bobby here to call. Kay Fleck here all day
with Betty. Billie worked with Dennis today. Kennard called today. Raymond went
up to Brud’s today to go to the clinic in Boston.
Monday, December 3, 1956
Light snow. Bill begun work
out Wilner’s wood (?) at Norway today. I washed. Bill didn’t work but a few
hours because of his eyes, had to come home. We went to town in p.m. It snowed
all day. Billie had to go to Norway to get Bill. I cooked some.
Tuesday, December 4, 1956
Very nice day. I worked on
orders for Mama. Bill gone all forenoon. Sally W and Linda called in p.m. Bill
and I went to town. I did a little shopping for Mama. Very cold.
Wednesday, December 5, 1956
A very nice day. Aunt Ava
and Uncle Lewis over for the day. Bill down to Gordons. He hired out with
Lawrence Howard. Later in the afternoon they called him from Wilner’s wood
company and he went to work tonight. Betty to choir rehearsal tonight.
