Friday, December 28, 1956
A fair day day. Blanche and
Joy took Mama, Betty and I to Portland, to get their eyes tested. Kay Fleck
went too. Bill and Billie looked after Donnie.
Saturday, December 29, 1956
A cloudy stormy day. Billie
and I went to town in AM shopping. Kennard went down with us. In PM I cooked,
washed floors, cleaned up the kitchen and ironed.
Sunday, December 30, 1956
A big storm. Betty to
church and Sunday school. Did up the work. In PM Billie and I over to
Raymond’s. Very cold. Bill was 48
years old today.
Monday, December 31, 1956
A fair day, I washed. Cleaned
up dining room In PM I packed Dorothea’s box. Holly down in evening. She and Betty
played Monopoly. Very cold. Bill to work at 4:30. End of 1956. Good Bye.
