Cloudy. Snow and rain. Washed today. Fern and Lloyd called.
Betty pretty good today. Mama fair.
Tuesday, March 10, 1964
We did up the general work. Bill called out to plow at 5:30
AM. Fern, Lloyd called. Bad storm, almost blizzard. I wrote letters. Carmen not
too good. Betty’s check came. She is making plans to go away. Steer went today,
one heifer came.
Wednesday, March 11, 1964
A beautiful day. I done up general work. I made three pies.
I ironed. Betty upstairs. Blanche took clothes over home to wash. I hung them
out. The Holstein cow was sick. Lawrence here to give her shot. Betty to town
tonight.
Thursday, March 12, 1964
I cleaned up the whole house. Betty down after car. Today
the Holstein cow went, she is better. Another Durham heifer came today. Mama
seems to be getting weaker.
