Wednesday, June 26, 1957
Rain again. I cooked. Kay up here today. Also other kids. I
ironed. Bill only worked in a.m. Betty and Kay walked down to choir rehearsal.
Billie went with Dennis to move a tractor. Donnie very sick tonight.
Thursday, June 27, 1957
Another rainy day. Bill worked in a.m. In p.m., he and I
with Fern and Uncle Os went to Mildred Chadbourne’s funeral at the North
Bridgton church. Betty been home all day. I cleaned up the house. Donnie not
much different. Billie away tonight. I worked at Mrs. Dearborn’s this p.m.
while Bill was at home.
Friday, June 28, 1957
It cleared off in p.m. Very hot. I did regular work, went to
town in p.m. after Bill got home. Bill worked all day. Donnie still sick.
Saturday, June 29, 1957
Rained awful hard in a.m. and heavy winds. Hurricane Audrey
going up through here to Canada. I cooked, cleaned up the house. Donnie still
sick. In p.m. Billie was home, he, Betty and I picked berries. Bill didn’t work
in a.m. Milan and Betty came in p.m. Blanche and little girl called in p.m. In
evening Stan Whitney’s family called. Betty babysitting tonight at Dick
Carsleys.
