It got hot again. I did a wash. We picked the peas and string beans. Bill been in bed all day, a bad cold. In evening Billie Deming called. He showed us all his pictures. They are very nice. He has turned his life around from what he was before he left for the service. He is in a new life altogether. I’m so please for him and I know it is a good feeling for Esther. He is doing real well.

A nice day. I did the wash, on the cool side. Norma brought the car back. Dorothea called here and she was in a very nervous condition. I don’t like to see her that way.
