It cleared and was a nicer day. Things are now settled down
for the winter ahead. I went to Portland with Betty and Zak. We stopped and got
Dorothea. Did quite a lot of errands. Got a few groceries. Betty got a lot.
Came home, got clothes in. Got supper. Walt took Freya over to the vet tonight
for her female operation.
Wednesday, January 3, 1973 A Beautiful Day
The sun was shining all day. We see it come up at the rising
and set at dusk. We haven’t had that for many many days. A beautiful day. I
washed, clothes dried very good. I washed kitchen curtains and windows. I went
to town, paid monthly bills. Came home, went down to Betty’s for a little
while. TV repair man came and got TV. I ironed after supper and Betty and I
called at Ferns.
