A pretty nice day. Betty, Walt and girls came about noon. We
had a good ham dinner. In p.m. Fern and Lloyd came. Late p.m. Dorothea and Jeff
came. We had a party for Carmen. She got a lot of nice gifts. Also we had ice
cream and cake. She enjoyed it all very much.

We had a snowstorm about 10 inches. Walt went to Portland
and Augusta. They were going home, but because of the bad storm they stayed.
Walt didn’t have any luck in getting any work today. Bill back to work tonight.
He worked until about 4 AM. Came home.
