went to Concord to take Betty and girls home. They all were glad to get home.
Walt was glad to see them also. Carmen not good early this morning, as the day
wore on she was better. When I talked to Betty after I got home Carmen was sick
with asthma again. Betty and Walt had company. Walt’s friend and his wife. Fern

60, Oil
A beautiful day. Today was Bill’s
birthday. He got some cards and a card and check of $10 from Jean. I went to
town to get him some pills after supper. Billie took me down. I washed today. A
big one. Had 100 gallons the furnace oil today. I called at Barb’s in evening.
