Thursday, September 9, 1965
A beautiful day. I cleaned up my house, cooked cake, did
some other odds and end jobs. Aunt Ava called in p.m. Betty, Carmen and I went
for a short ride, very pretty day. Bill and I over to see about getting trailer
in our name.
Friday, September 10, 1965
Rained hard early this morning, cleared during the day.
Quite hot and muggy. I churned, done up my work. Got Susan dress off to her.
Wrote to George Crook and Betty and Betty Smith. Lloyd got hurt last night
while at work. Betty took me to town tonight to get our groceries. Called on
Lloyd. Very HOT all day and night.
Saturday, September 11, 1965
Calf born this morning at 9 AM, a Scotch Highlander father.
He is so cute. Took Fern to town in a.m. Bill worked in p.m. Well drawed dry
today. Cloudy, not so warm. Sold 1960 Ford tonight.
Sunday, September 12, 1965
A fair day, didn’t get up very early. Had breakfast, done up
work, down got the paper. Came home, had lunch, down through to Sebago and the
Cemetery. Bob called. Lloyd called.
