At last a good rain came. Rained hard all day. Done
up regular work. Betty got a letter back from Welfare Department. Betty got a
phone call from the Knitting Mill to go back to work. Was very sorry she
couldn’t. I’m going to make plans to go to Michigan. Mrs. Popham paid the rent
of September 5 to October 5. $50.00.
