Saturday, December 18, 1965
A nice day. Betty and I to town and Betty over to Norway to
do her shopping. She finished the Christmas, came home, had supper. After
supper she took Lloyd’s car back and I went down to do some more settling in
her apartment.
Sunday, December 19, 1965 MOVED
A little more sunshine. BETTY and CARMEN moved out today bag
and baggage. Bill Walsh’s funeral today. Fern and Lloyd, Jean and I went. It is
dreadful quiet here tonight. Albert Graham helped Betty move.
Monday, December 20, 1965
A cold, cold morning. Zero when we got up at 7:30.
Betty had the car downtown and it wouldn’t start. She got it started about 11
and they came up. Carmen home sick some last night. I did my wash down with
Betty to the apartment. Fern, Lloyd and Kennard called also.
Tuesday, December 21, 1965
A very cold, cold morning. Cold all day. Betty, Carmen, Fern
and I to Portland and done their shopping at stamp stores. Had a good time.
Carmen on the tired and not feeling too good. Bill got a check from Jean for
$20 for Christmas.
