Saturday, May 29, 1965
I picked up and done a lot of odd jobs. In p.m. Betty and I
over to Sweden and got plants for Cemetery. Lots look so nice. Billie worked on
pigpen. Betty and I called at Grace (?) Camels to see a washing machine.
Sunday, May 30, 1965
A nice day. Mike went fishing with Bob. I set my dahlias
out, trimmed grass. Betty and Mike didn’t have to work. Billie got the pigs
out.
Monday, May 31, 1965
Celebrate the holiday. Billie worked for Lawrence. Bill and
Mike put the cement into the porch foundation. Carmen and Betty to the parade.
I washed all day. Bill saw the washing machine wringer act out today. A
beautiful day.
Tuesday, June 1, 1965
A nice day but on the cool side. Carmen very sick. Betty and
I took her to the doctors at Naples. Bischenofferberger. Bronchial pneumonia
and asthma. My kitchen set came today, very pretty. I was caring for Carmen all
day. I ironed, cooked, washed kitchen floor.
