Kind of a hectic day. Nice weather. Betty and Mike made a
new peace treaty. A near climax of separation. Betty took me to town tonight. A
beautiful day. Not too hot. We ironed.

Monday, August 23, 1965 Mike gone
A very nice day. Dorothea and I did another big wash. Dennis
is on his way we expect. About noon Betty came down. She had a very hectic
night up at her trailer. Mike and his friend had a party. Betty is sick over
it. They about wrecked her trailer and new hi-fi. She sent Mike away after he
came back from work and had been fired. He just isn’t dependable. She sent Mike
away last night.
