Thursday, May 22, 1958
Fair, a very nice pretty morning. I churned, cooked, done up
the housework. Had Aunt Ava and Uncle Lewis over for dinner.
Friday, May 23, 1958
A nice sunny day. On the cold side. I cleaned at Seavy’s
cottage. LETTER from DOROTHEA and DENNIS. Bill and I to town before supper.
Sent L. C. Andrews money, ordered more paint.
Saturday, May 24, 1958
A nice day, still cool. I cooked, cleaned up a little in the
house. Betty, Holly and Penny went for a walk. David Nevers here today. Billie
got paint over to Lovell for the barn. Aunt Ava got her new stove today.
Sunday, May 25, 1958
Clouded up and rained. Couldn’t paint the barn. I done up
the work, wrote letters. Kennie and Dot called and Fern and Lloyd. They took Bill,
Betty and I for a ride down over the new road. Betty got supper.
