Cloudy. Some snow and rain, also sunshine. Lloyd came up in
a.m. and talked. Bill downtown. Bill and I over to Denmark with Fern and Lloyd.
Raymond called in p.m. Betty made a cake. Very good. Bob and Blanche
called. Letter from Adair’s.
Monday, March 24, 1958
A fair day, clothes dried quite well. Billie to town, got a
few groceries. Kennie, Dot, Lorraine, Wanda Jean and Karen Joyce called. Thank
you letter from Joy and Frank. Hayd and Helen called in evening. Owen Smart in
car accident tonight. Betty brought me home a pen set.

Tuesday, March 25, 1958
Cloudy. I didn’t do much. Cooked two Apple pies, churned,
did some ironing, worked on my puzzle. Kennard called. Also Dawn called today.
In evening I went up to Aunt Ava’s and Uncle Lewis. Bill over to Fryeburg with
Hayd.
Wednesday, March 26, 1958
Our hens are laying good, have been for past few weeks. A
very nice day. Snow settled a lot. Bill worked for Hayd. Billie got his car
fixed. Dawn Parks called in a.m. Norma Wildberger called in p.m. Billie got his
haircut. In evening Don Chadbourne called and hired Bill for summer $10 per
day. Called at Ferns in the evening.
