A big storm all over New England. Big snowdrifts and snow
got here about 11:30 AM. Snowed hard and heavy winds, drifts and all. I did
regular work. Billie fishing. I wrote my letters. Bobby Smart called.
Monday, February 17, 1958 Betty’s 15 today.
Cleared off, and got colder. We went to town in a.m. We
entertained Dawn Parks and son Steve, Mabel Nevers and son David. Betty got
nice lot of gifts and had a good time. Raymond called also.

Fair not too cold. We, Betty, Bill and I went to visit
DONNIE at Pineland Home in Pownal. I was so glad to see him. He was drowsy from
medicine, so he didn’t pay any attention to us. I hope to find him up and
better next time. His mother was there in a.m.
