Sunday, April 7, 1957
A fair day but cold and awful windy. Kitchen floor looks
nice. I cleaned Mama’s bedroom. In p.m. moved things back into the kitchen.
Washed the kitchen curtains. Wrote to Es and Dorothea. Betty to church. Betty
got two more parakeets today, bought them off Chris Haggett.
Monday, April 8, 1957
Billie begun working earlier. Bill started in working for
Jim Chadbourne. Fair in a.m. but clouded up in p.m. Bill and Bishop here at
noon. I did a very big wash today, cooked, finish cleaning kitchen. Ironed
kitchen curtains. Kitchen all done, it looks very nice.
Tuesday, April 9, 1957
It was snowing hard this morning. Bill nor Billie didn’t
work. I did a big ironing. Cooked. Billie filled out a questionnaire for Army.
Also had his income tax fixed up. Bill watch TV. I didn’t do any cleaning
today.
Wednesday, April 10, 1957
A nice clear day but awful cold and windy. Snow all melted.
I cleaned Betty’s bedroom, bathroom and hallway upstairs. Also cleaned out the
chest. Joy came over and spent the afternoon. Aloha Bradley here for supper
tonight. Betty and she went to choir rehearsal.
Thursday, April 11, 1957
I finish cleaning upstairs and done Billie’s room. A good
day except awful cold. Aunt Ava called in p.m.
