Well, what a miserable day. It started out okay. Rained most
of forenoon. Carmen and I down to Fern’s for dinner.
Paid $40 on taxes.
Tuesday, December 10, 1963
Well I washed. Clothes dried pretty good. Wood came, half cord.
Wednesday, December 11, 1963
Got the clothes in. It is sunny today. Betty ironed tonight
part of the things. Betty and Louise Richardson got Christmas trees.
Thursday, December 12, 1963
Snow. Went to town, done Mama’s shopping. It began snowing
about 10 o’clock. Took Carmen over to Blanche’s. Three big boxes of Christmas
gifts came from the Adair’s. Billie didn’t feel very good.
