A nice day. I was sick. I finish the painting, varnished the
chair. Today I was sick. First time I have been laid up for many a year. I was
so awful sick in the p.m., I went to bed. Dr. Richards came. Nothing serious.
Betty had company, the Kittridge children and Vicki. Betty took over and done
the housework. Also showers in p.m. and evening.

Partly cloudy and showers, still sick in bed. I was much
better. Betty had me stay in bed and I got wonderful service all day. Betty (did)
all the work. They was so pleased to have supper tonight. Already to sit down
to. She had a wonderful tuna casserole and had Fern up. Fern and Lloyd called
today. I got up after supper, came downstairs, wrote in this diary. I will be
up and at it tomorrow.
