Monday, September 21, 1992 CLIFF’S SERVICE
A quite nice day. Today the services were held in Homeland Cemetery for Clifford Lewis Deming. Mostly sunny. A lot of people were here, several friends of theirs from Florida. Carmen served a buffet lunch. Everyone thought that was very nice and it was. Grant, Cliff’s brother, came from Virginia. Also Vince drove home from Ohio. He is a very nice smart young man. It all was very nice. Esther is very much relieved. Betty came to clean. Walt used the truck today. I wrote a letter. Esther over to Susan. We did a big washing. Betty and Walt sold the pullets tonight.
