Friday, December 28, 1990 BILLIE HOME
Cloudy, snow and rain. Today Billie came home for good from the NEW ENGLAND REHABILITATION from Portland. He is better. He still has got to have therapy treatment. He was very glad to get home. Walt went down and got him. He had callers. Carmen came and cleaned, also in the garage. We are glad to have him home again. Hope he never has another spell.

Cloudy and rainy all day and freezing on the road. A lot of cars went off the road down the corner below Walt’s. Carmen came and did the hens etc. I done regular work and made some beans. Carmen made some very nice rolls and brought some. They were the best rolls I have ever ate. I never will make them again. Robert Martin got hurt today, in the hospital in Portland. A very bad cut. It may be he will have plastic surgery.

Another cloudy dreary day. Cloudy, foggy. Billie’s first Sunday home. I did regular work and made out the bills. Carmen came up and did the chores. Then came again tonight. Kim called also this p.m. and made a nice visit. Joy called this evening. Tom Martin operated on, very sick.
