Partly cloudy. Got up early and walked downtown with Beat, Bill
and I did. Beat had to go to a ladies home so Bill and I wandered around. We
called at Betty Milne’s. Called to see Roger Crook and Mary Ann Roger’s sister.
Then Bill, Roger and I walked up to 7 Duke St. where Bill’s father and mother
lived. Then we went out on the street and looked over some of the places where
Bill used to live and friends homes and some of his hangouts. Down to the
waterfront where he used to go. Called on Peg and came home. Called in to a
shop or two.

Bright and sunny this
morning. I got up at 10:30, wrote in my book and diary. Wrote some cards and
letters. Hope all is well at home. I’m kind of worried. Beat and I went down
town to the stores. Betty and Jim came up in evening. Showed them pictures. I
bought a few things today. Had Smokies for supper.

Up early this a.m. Bill and I took a walk downtown. Did a
lot of shopping. Called the Peg’s and George’s, came home. Had dinner. Bill and
Dave went walking. I showed Beat the things I bought. In the evening Peg and
George came over for the evening. Showed them the slides and snaps, had a snack
of fish and chips, tea cake and tea or coffee.

Another nice day, up around 9 AM. Had breakfast. Bill, Dave
and I took a 2 mile or more walk. We went way up the street and walked way out
to the cliffs along the coast. It was a beautiful scenery. We enjoyed it very
much. Came home by way of Victoria Park. Took a picture. Then ones out on the
cliffs, all the film we had. Stopped to see some outside bowling on down to the
docks. Saw all the brats, the life boat, on up home. Over to Mrs. Kyds for tea.
Brian and Irene Milne called in evening.
