Wednesday, February 27, 1991 WAR IS OVER
A nice day. Well, today the war is over. Tonight at nearly midnight President Bush will declare cease-fire. How happy it makes everybody. It was a quick war and the US loss of soldiers wasn’t too bad, but Kuwait was bad. Now if they can get their old leader out and do away with him. That would make everyone relieved. An awful lot of details to square out and clear away. It will take some time to get all settled.
