Monday, December 26, 1960 20 and 30 above today
A very nice day, on the mild side. I washed, clothes dried
good. I took out the tree. Mike and Betty got up and went ice fishing. They
have had such a good time this weekend. Tonight Betty went down to Rowena’s.
Billie home all day, he piled the wood over. Got the screens off back porch. I
washed the windows after supper. Bill and Billie put the windows on. They are
nice. We liked them. Put windows on porch. Ronald and family came, and Nola
came home with Kennard and Delores.
Nice and sunny. The windows are nice and help to keep the
porch warm when the sun shines. Also helps to keep the kitchen warm. Betty not
home all day. Ronald, Blanche, Jean and Jill called. Jill is a very cunning
baby. I done up the work, ironed, churned. Albert Graham and Butch came and sawed
the wood.
